A-List: Sheperds, Servants, and Saints

   Today, April 27, 2014 marks the historic day for Catholic Church. The canonization of the world’s two Great Pope. Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II. As the world awaited for this day, religious groups, different catholic communities converge at the St. Peter’s Square to witness this momumental event this year.
    Here in Philippines, different gatherings across the country were held. We attended the occassion at the Araneta Coliseum, as the late Pope John Paul II once called, the Colisseo of Papal Audience.
    The atmosphere in the arena were filled with holyness and sanctity as the crowd awaits to the live streaming of the canonization from Vatican.




   The canonization dated today also marks the Divine Mercy Sunday which is celebrated every second Sunday of Easter.
   After the live streaming, it was followed by a mass presided by His Eminence, Antonio Cardinal Tagle. The Cardinal lead the mass full of joy and lessons from Divine Mercy.
