The season of lent has commenced and ushered last week as Filipino Catholics flocks in churches for Ash Wednesday. The ritual rite of putting ashes on the forehead signifies that we are from dust and from the time of our death we will return into the latter. Its a fourty days of reflection, fasting and abstinence (every friday during lent).
For sure, many Filipino catholics are awaiting for the Holy Week where less than hundred of images will soon paraded into the streets once again. But, to give you a rundown of what we can expect this holy week, a group of Santo Enthusiasts holds a lenten exhibit entitled Abo sa Noo which houses different holy week images intended for processional.
To give you a glimpse of the exhibit, we will showcase some of the images we had taken during our visit.
The exhibit was held at the Sta. Lucia East Grandmall Cainta, Rizal.
